GREELEY — Elgin Public-Pope John wrestlers finished third in the team standings Friday at the Greeley-Wolbach Invitational.
Sebastian Janssen, Beau Henn, Nick Farmer and Dylan Heithoff led the medal parade, each finishing second in their respective weight classes at the tournament.
Earning third place medals were Derek Henn, Nathan Anderson and Oliver Rivera.
Palmer won the team title with 189 points followed by Wood River 181, EPPJ 140.5, Weeping Water 126, Stanton 116.5, Fullerton 101, Greeley-Wolbach/Cedar Rapids 78, Newman Grove/Holy Family 66.5, una 47, Nebraska Christian 46.5, Neligh-Oakdale 36, Heartland Lutheran 28.5, Loup City 23, Overton 20, Osceola 15 and Clearwater-Orchard 7.
