Wolfpack Wrestlers Post Winning Marks

Singlets have been put away by the Wolfpack wrestlers as the season has come to a close.
The Wolfpack finished the season with six wrestlers on the squad. Three of those wrestlers (Geoffrey Carr, Logan Henn and Cory Romej) came within one victory of reaching the state wrestling tournament.
Despite being injured for part of the season, junior Logan Henn led the team in points with 126.
Freshman Luke Henn led the team in wins with 22 and falls with 13.
Teammate Cory Romej, also a freshman, won 19 matches during his first season as a Wolfpack wrestler. He, Logan and Luke Henn were the only wrestlers to post winning records during the season.
Senior Geoffrey Carr had the best season of his Wolfpack career earning 12 victories, six by pin.
Two other wrestlers, new to the program, gained valuable experience during the season. Hayes Miller posted five victories during the season, teammate Austin Bauer had three.
Of the six wrestlers, five are underclassmen who should provide plenty of experience for the next Wolfpack wrestling coach (Coach Doug Jones retired at the end of the season). The only senior on the team this year was Carr.
