Wolfpack Win Two Matches At H/D Tourney

HOWELLS — The Wolfpack played three matches at the Howells Volleyball Tournament Saturday, winning two.
Howells/Dodge defeated the Wolfpack 25/13 and 25/17 for just their second loss of the season.
The Wolfpack had 15 kills in the match. Selting led the way with six, Nikki Beckman and Jenna Parks each had three, Terri Seier, Amy Nelson and Jill Schindler each had one.
Beckman had the team’s lone ace serve in the match.
At the net, Nelson and Seier each had ace blocks.
The Wolfpack recorded 20 digs in the match, led by Baylee Wemhoff with seven.
Parks led setters with six set assists, Wemhoff had four.
Jordan Mescher led the team in serve receive with 10, Selting had nine and Parks added seven.
Shelby/Rising City
The Wolfpack made quick work of Shelby/Rising City, winning in two sets by the scores of 25-17 and 25-17.
Selting led hitters with eight kills followed by Parks with seven, Nelson had three, Seier and Paige Meis each had two and Jill Schindler added one.
Nelson led servers with two ace serves, Beckman, Parks and Mescher each had one.
Seier had three of the team’s four solo blocks, Schindler had the other one.
Beckman led the team in digs with six, Mescher and Selting each had four, Wemhoff and Parks each had three.
Parks led the team in set assists with 10, Wemhoff had seven. Mescher was tops in serve receive with 15.
Burwell
Against Burwell, the Wolfpack were victorious by the scores of 25-19 and 25-20.
Selting led EPPJ in kills with seven, Parks had four, Seier, Meis and Nelson each had two and Schindler added one.
From the service line, Wemhoff, Parks and Selting each had two ace serves, Beckman and Nicki Payne both recorded one ace serve.
Schindler had two of the team’s three solo blocks, Parks had one.
Mescher led the team in digs with five.
Parks had nine set assists in the match, Wemhoff recorded eight.
Mescher was tops in serve receive with 10.
