O’NEILL — Track teams from Elgin Public-Pope John competed Thursday at the St. Mary’s Invitational.
In the boys team competition, Chambers won with 104 points followed by St. Mary’s 94, North Valley 77, Cody-Kilgore 75, Elgin Public-Pope John 60, Verdigre 52, Ewing 40, West Boyd 17, Wheeler Central 6, Santee 0. Wheeler Central won the girls team title with 123 points followed by St. Mary’s 114, Chambers 103, Elgin Public-Pope John 83, Cody-Kilgore 33, Verdigre 28, North Valley 18,West Boyd 11, Santee 4, Ewing 3.
The Wolfpack was led by Chelsea Eischeid who won the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.09 seconds. For the boys, Tyler Schrage won the 800 meter run in a time of 2:08.06.

300 meter hurdles — 1. Kelsey Weber, Wheeler Central, 49.77 seconds; 2. Connor Kinney, Elgin Public-Pope John, 52.70; 5. Courtney Schumacher, Elgin Public-Pope John, 54.85.
