ELGIN — Elgin Public-Pope John gained their fourth victory of the season Thursday night by sweeping West Boyd by the scores of 25-17, 25-15 and 25-19.
The Wolfpack had a tremendous night, rounding into mid-season form as they executed nearly flawlessly in all facets of the game.
In the first game, the Wolfpack jumped out to a 10 to 3 lead. Helping spark the run was sophomore Chelsi Mescher who had back-to-back kills. Both Lauren Selting and Michelle Bauer each had ace serves.
