Wolfpack Pounds Osmond 40 to 6

OSMOND — On a chilly, damp night, the Wolfpack were ‘hot’ on both sides of the ball as they avenged a loss to Osmond last season with a 40 to 6 over the Tigers.

Osmond, who dominated the line of scrimmage one year ago, had no such luck on this night as the Wolfpack dominated every phase of the game in producing the lop-sided victory.

It was ‘homecoming night’ for the Tigers, but they were able to give their fans only one moment to cheer and that came in the latter stages of the game.

The teams traded possessions to open the game before the Wolfpack offense kicked it into high gear.

After Evan Parks recovered a fumble, giving the Wolfpack the ball in Tigers’ territory, it took just two plays to light up the scoreboard. Quarterback Nick Heithoff, alternating with Ross Schindler at the position, hooked up along the left sideline with Nash Schindler who beat Tiger defenders to the endzone for a 30-yard touchdown.
