ELGIN — Many expected the North Central Knights to battle the EPPJ Wolfpack for the district football title Friday night. Some even thought the Knights could win the game. If you were one of those with such thoughts you need to rethink the situation. On Homecoming night, the Wolfpack took the Knights’ best shot and sent them home on the short end of a 46 to 6 score.
“We came out clicking on all cylinders,” Coach Carlie Wells said about the game. “Our kids played with great intensity. I am proud of their effort and a great regular season and a district championship. It is a great way to head into the playoffs.”
