ORCHARD — With a slew of underclassmen playing key roles, the Wolfpack volleyball team opened the season by splitting a pair of matches Thursday night, Sept. 5.
EPPJ notched their first victory of the season, defeating the Stuart Lady Broncos in three games, 25-20, 13-25 and 25-21.
After splitting the first two games, the Wolfpack jumped out to a 14 to 10 lead in the decisive third game. Being tied at 10-all, the Wolfpack scored the next four points, one coming on an ace serve by Jenna Parks and another when Liz Selting and Corin Pelster teamed up to stuff a Stuart attack at the net.
