EWING — The Wolfpack golf team turned in an impressive performance in winning their first meet of the season. Competing Tuesday, April 3, at Summerland Golf Course, the Wolfpack varsity shot 167 to win by 18 strokes over second place Orchard/Clearwater. The Wolfpack JVs came in third at 188 followed by Ewing 193 and Orchard/Clearwater JVs 265.
Nick and Andrew Heithoff led the Wolfpack varsity, each shooting 41 over the nine-hole course. Tyler Childers shot a 42, Evan Parks carded a 43 and senior Preston Schrage posted a score of 51 to round out varsity scores.
The Wolfpack JVs were led by Kyle Heithoff with a 41. Other scores were Trent Hoefer 44 and Austin Starman 52.
