ELGIN — The Wolfpack girls basketball team was looking for something ‘good’ to happen after dropping two games earlier in the week. ‘Good’ came in the form of a 44 to 18 victory over O’Neill Saturday night at St. Boniface gymnasium.
Air-tight defense and 11 players finding their way into the scorebook was all it took for the Wolfpack to record their seventh victory of the season.
The Wolfpack broke open a tight game in the second quarter. Leading seven to five, the Wolfpack outscored the Lady Eagles 15 to two in the second quarter to take a 22 to 7 lead at halftime.
