Wolfpack Girls Take Second At Creighton Invite

CREIGHTON — The Wolfpack girls finished second in the team competition last week at the Creighton Invitational track meet.
Crofton won the girls team title with 145, EPPJ came in second with 99 points followed by Wausa 95.5, Randolph 69, Bon Homme 64, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 33, Creighton 16.5 and Crofton JV 1.
Sophomore Lydia won two events and freshman Kaylee Martinsen won one at the meet.
Behnk won the long jump and triple jump events. Martinsen claimed gold, winning the high jump by clearing 4’9”.
Senior Katie Polk placed third in the discus while teammate Paige Meis finished third in the long jump. Junior Taya Voborny, competing in the 100 meter hurdles, finished third, as did Emma Kerkman in the 800 meter run.
The 400 meter relay team consisting of Meis, Martinsen, Vada Kruse and Taylor Sehi, finished third.
