The 87th annual Wheeler County Fair will be held August 2-5.
4-H events will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Other special events include a Fireman and EMT Barbecue and Cornerstone Bank Ice Cream Social Friday evening. Rodeo performances will be held Saturday evening and again on Sunday.
The annual Wheeler County Steak Feed will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening. On Saturday night there will be a dance featuring the James Lee Band.
Throughout the fair the Hungry Horse will have a beer garden on the grounds.
