Striv is proud to bring you the 5th Annual Striv All-Star Classic presented by Cornerstone Bank. This year’s event will once again be held at York High School, on Saturday June 8th.
The girls game will begin at 6 p.m., with a skills challenge and 3-point contest between games, and the boys game set to start around 8 p.m.
Elgin Public/Pope John basketball standout Allyson Wemhoff has been selected to play on the Blue team. Other team members are Kate Bergen, Heartland; Lilly Cast and Brooklyn Gierhan, Centennial; Morgan Haschke, Riverside; Kate Jansky, Exeter-Milligan; Sierra Kile, WPB; Halle Konz, Twin River; Aubrey Leichty, Giltner; Kayla Luebbe, Seward; Brooklyn Minzel, Malcolm; and Sydney Roth, Deshler.
Coach of the Blue team will be Jake Polk of Centennial High School at Utica. Polk is the son of Dan and Deb Polk of Elgin.
