There will be a two-mile walk in Elgin for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital on Saturday, May 21.
Registration will be at Elgin City Park at 9:30 a.m. The walk will begin at 10 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded to those who raise the most amount of money.
Prizes are also available from St. Jude’s.
St. Jude’s Hospital was founded by the late Danny Thomas and treats about 5,700 patients a year. The hospital is operated primarily on public contributions.
