An update on the schedule of events for Elgin’s Q125 celebration was presented Sunday night.
Alan Reicks, a member of the Q125 committee, shared the updated, tentative schedule during the Elgin Community Club spaghetti feed at the KC Hall.

Thursday, June 19
• The Vietnam Moving Wall will arrive in Elgin and be here throughout the duration of the celebration.
Friday, June 20
• Vintage Bridal Gown Display Downtown
• Mountain Man Muzzleloaders to set up at the CVA lot. (tentative)
• 8:30 a.m. Flag dedication at the cemetery
• 9 a.m. Cemetery Walk
• 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kid’s Zone at Pope John
• 10 a.m. Quilt Show at St. Boniface church basement
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lions Club Mobile Health Screening unit to be set up at the Jonny Dodge lot
• 12 p.m. Lunch at the KC Hall/Elgin Community Center
• 1 p.m. Vintage Clothing Style Show (all types of clothing) at EHS Gymnasium
• 2:30 p.m. Water fights sponsored by the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department
