Time to Enroll in Antelope County 4-H

4-H is the youth development program of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the United States Department of Agriculture. It is one of the largest youth organizations in the country with more than 6.8 million participants and more than 610,595 youth and adult volunteers.
Antelope County had almost 200 4-H members in 2012 from all over northeast Nebraska. Our youth look forward to a great 4-H year in 2013. How can you be a member of the Antelope County 4-H program?
4-H Clover Kids are youth who turn 6, 7, or 8 during the calendar year. They participate in a non-competitive learning environment.
4-H membership is for youth between the ages of 8 and 18 years of age as of January 1 of the calendar year. You may join an already existing club in the county or be an independent member.
April 1, 2013 is the enrollment deadline to join the Antelope County 4-H program. Enrollment forms for 4-H Clover Kids and 4-H members and a list of the 4-H projects that are available can be found at: http://antelope.unl.edu/antelope4h
For more information about joining 4-H, contact Anita Hall or Rod Wilke at the UNL Extension office located in the basement of the Antelope County courthouse, or call 402-887-5414.
