THANK YOU – parents, community members, and businesses! Due to your support the 2010 Elgin FFA Labor Auction was a huge success for the members.  The average auction price was nearly $200, which the members will use to pay for state and national membership dues, purchase of a new FFA jacket, support chapter activities, national FFA Convention expenses, and cover the cost of attending a leadership conference of their choice. You are helping the FFA members receive opportunities they would otherwise not have available.  A special thank you goes out to Ted Baum, who auctioneered his 30th Elgin FFA labor auction this year! Also, thank you to  Chris Baum and Jim Redding for taking bids and to Chris Redding and Deb Beckman for recording buyers.

We would like to express our gratitude to the good people in Elgin and the surrounding communities. Your outpouring of care and concern with cards, notes, phone calls, visits, and most importantly all the prayers sent our way is awesome! Bud is now living in the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, it’s a loving, caring environment. Our families and friends are very supportive, so we feel blessed and loved. God Bless all of you.
