Many thanks for your prayers, Dr. Travis, gifts, visitors, greeting cards, phone calls, and food that was brought into the home while I was in the Boone County Hospital and the Friendship Villa in Spalding. I returned home on 2-16-11. May God Bless you.

A big “thank you” for the cards, prayers, calls, gifts, visits, flowers and food brought to us since my recent surgery. Your thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated.

We would like to thank all those that turned out for our benefit in Bartlett Sunday evening to enjoy pancakes and sausage, music and fellowship. We thank everyone but special thanks to Karen and Sharon who organized the evening, for the Bartlett Lions that did the cooking and for Helen for rounding up her musical friends for an evening of good music. It was a very enjoyable evening but were sorry that our daughter, Janet from Colorado, returned home Sunday morning due to the weather and couldn’t attend. Thank you all again, God Bless and come visit us at our temporary home or when we finally get a home on the old site.

We would like to thank those that helped with the Soup Supper/Variety Show and to those that attended.  The soup was great and so were the bars and entertainment. A special thanks to those that helped in the kitchen, FFA for sitting up chairs and tables, those that served soup, poured coffee, entertainers, KC’s, Gary Hoefer, Dean’s Market, Rosie Schueths, the Elgin Review, Jerry’s Feed, Bank of Elgin, Golden Living Center-Gwen Koinzan, cash donations, and  for the great people that  stayed to help clean the KC Hall.  It meant a lot to Juan and I. The Chamber does a lot for the town of Elgin, they are to be appreciated.
