CARD OF THANKS:

My sincere thanks for the cards, prayers, phone calls and flowers I received during my hospital stay and since returning home. Also for the food brought to the house. All were enjoyed. Thanks also to Diane and Jayne for their T.L.C. God Bless you all.   Marie Schrage

Thanks to all my neighbors for their support on cleaning up the railroad property. A special thanks to the city council and city employees for taking care of the drainage ditch and to Jim Kittelson and the fire department for the burn permit.    Janet Koinzan

My family and I would like to thank everyone for attending Flo’s Estate Auction on Saturday.  She loved going to them!  A special thanks to Fowlkes Realty and helpers; you did a great job.  Special thanks to Duane and Sandy and Lisa.  To everyone that toured the house and the beautiful backyard; let me know if you are interested in purchasing this treasure. Again, THANK YOU!     Marie Vanderheiden (303) 423-4328

Thank you to all who worked, baked, or participated in any way to make the Bake Sale for Shari’s scholarship a success. A big thank you to Kim for organizing it and the Softball Girls for helping. We truly appreciate all that’s been done.   Jim and Carol Schiltmeyer

We are so fortunate to be part of a community that provides many diverse opportunities for school age children during the summer months. Recently, my family has been involved in community events that have proved to be fun, educational, and very worthwhile. Some of these activities include: Vacation Bible School; the library story hours for both younger and older students, both of which will continue through the summer; and all the Vetch Day activities, most memorably, Wednesday’s scavenger hunt. All these activities required a great deal of planning by those in charge and their hard work and preparation was evident and appreciated. I would encourage both parents and young people of the area to take advantage of these summer programs – we are lucky to have adults that are devoted to creating great summer memories for our children!   Sara Walsh

Thank you to everyone who made something for our bake sale. Thank you also to everyone who came and bought our baked goodies. Your support is greatly appreciated.   Shari Schiltmeyer Scholarship Fund and the Elgin Softball Girls
