Tilden Community Hospital will host their annual health fair Saturday, Oct. 19, from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Elkhorn Valley School gym. They will be offering lab tests for $30, PSA tests for $30 and flu shots for $15.
Faith Regional’s CardioVascular Institute will also be there offering pulmonary function testing, electrocardiogram tests, ankle-brachial index tests and vein screens – all at no charge. You should fast 10 to 12 hours prior to blood being drawn for the most accurate results. Results will be mailed out one to two weeks later.
PLEASE NOTE: Health fair services will not be submitted to insurance. TCH will collect payment at the time of service. If you want these covered under preventative care insurance, you will need to see a doctor and have him or her order the service at a different time.
