Supervisor Still Under Investigation

The investigation of Antelope County Supervisor Merlin Bolling has been turned over to the State Attorney General’s office.
Earlier this month, the State Patrol was called in to investigate actions taken by Bolling, allegedly changing speed limit signs near Clearwater.
The State Patrol’s assistance was sought by both the Antelope County Sheriff’s Department and the Antelope County Attorney’s office.
According to County Attorney Joe Abler, a complaint was made that speed limit signs had been changed near Clearwater shortly after a relative of Bolling had received a citation for speeding in that area.
