Youngsters involved in the Elgin Public Library summer story hour received a lesson in patriotism this past week. The Way Out West 4H club reads to the children present for the story hour. One story read this Wednesday was America’s White Table. On Thursday, nine children came for activity time. Library staff and the children set up “the white table”, talked about its meaning, and made patriotic wind socks. E-R photo
