St. Boniface School announced last week it has been awarded a grant of $705 by the Nebraska Arts Council. This grant will support Music through History by Mr. Christopher Sayre of Lincoln. Mr Sayre will do a week long artist in residence program with the St. Boniface students during Catholic Schools Week, January 28 through February 1.
Nebraska Arts Council’s Executive Director, Suzanne Wise, commended St. Boniface for its programs, noting that St. Boniface does an outstanding job providing arts activities in Elgin. It is through fine organizations like this that Nebraska’s children receive a better education in the arts.
