St. Boniface ‘Mission’ Begins Sunday

Dates have been announced for the St. Boniface Parish Mission.
The event will be held March 3-6 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Leading the mission will be Father Matthew Habiger. He will be the celebrant at Mass on Saturday, March 2.
The Mission will begin on Sunday evening, March 3, at 7 p.m. when Father Habiger will speak on “The Creed: What the Church believes”
The rest of the schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 4 — “The Sacraments: What the Church celebrates”
Tuesday, March 5 — “What the Church prays” (Parish penance service to follow)
Wednesday, March 6 — “The Commandments: What the Catholic Church lives” (Refreshments to follow)
Mission programs will begin at 7 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring their Bible and copy of The Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Father Habiger will be available for confessions from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday (parish penance service will be Tuesday).
Father Habiger OSB was ordained in 1968.
He has held avariety of position in the servoce of the Church. He has done two series for EWTN, on Catholic Social Teaching and on the 25th anniversry of Humanae Vitae, and has been a guest on various EWTN shows.
Since April 2007, he has worked for EWTN’s Q & A program “Ask the Experts” on NFP.
