ATKINSON — Playing in the consolation finals of the NVC Girls Tournament, EPPJ fell behind early and saw Clearwater-Orchard claim the third place trophy with a 66 to 50 victory.
The Wolfpack went 2-2 in the conference tournament which spanned eight days, posting victories over Santee and Ewing before falling to Boyd County and Clearwater-Orchard.
The Cyclones’ motion offense created way too many easy, close-in shots in this game for the Wolfpack to overcome. Doing much of the damage for the Cyclones was Kelsey Knust and Emily Filsinger.
