Special Hearing Minutes
September 6, 2011
Mayor Schmitt opened the special hearing on Tuesday, September 6, 2011; at 9:10 p.m. Council members present were Shirley Nissen, Don Mackel and Jim Kittelson. Councilman Kenny Jochum was absent. Also present was Don E. Poulsen and Vicki S. Miller.
There was no public opinion regarding setting the final tax request for 2011; 2012.
A motion was made by Nissen to approve Resolution 2011; 2, a resolution setting the property tax request of $132, 000.00 for the 2011; 2012 fiscal year. A second to the motion was made by Kittelson. All members voted aye and the motion carried. Councilman Jochum was absent and not voting.
There being no further business to come before the Elgin City Council Mayor Schmitt declared the hearing adjourned. The Special Hearing ended at 9:20 p.m.
