SourceGas Distribution LLC customers in Nebraska will soon be paying less for the natural gas they are receiving from the company. Last week the Nebraska Public Service Commission (NPSC) approved the Compliance Tariff Filing and Rate Refund Plan that reflects a decrease from the $9.3 million interim level requested by SourceGas to $4.8 million, the final revenue increase adopted by the NPSC in compliance with the Lancaster District Court’s Order.
In March, 2010, the NPSC issued an order for a $1.8 million increase which SourceGas appealed in Lancaster County District Court. The Court recently issued separate Orders on Appeal as to both SourceGas Distribution and the Public Advocate appeals.
