Snow Hikes January County Fuel Costs

As last week’s meeting, Chairman LeRoy Kerkman informed the other supervisors that during the month of January the County spent more than $25,000 ($25,560.57 to be exact) for fuel. The figure is nearly $21,000 more than during January 2009 when $4,696.36 was spent on fuel. The big reason for the increase was snow removal during that month.

Also during that time period, wages totaled nearly $5,000 more than was paid out during January 2009.
