Wolfpack sophomore Liz Selting made the biggest basket in her career Tuesday night as the Wolfpack defeated Boyd County 55 to 52 in quarter-final round action at the NVC Tournament.
Selting banked in a three-point shot as the buzzer sounded to cap a second half comeback. They trailed 43 to 29 in the third quarter, then proceeded to outscore Boyd County 26 to nine to win the game.
By virtue of the victory, EPPJ will play St. Mary’s at 2:45 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 5) at Stuart. Atkinson will be the site Saturday for the consolation finals (2:45 p.m.) and finals (6:15 p.m.) of the tournament.
