The District 18 Board of Education approved the 2011-2012 budget at Thursday’s meeting.
In separate votes, the school board passed the 2011-2012 budget and the necessary tax levy.
The 2011-2012 budget calls for a tax requirement of more than $2.27 million for the general fund and just over $121,000 for the special building fund.
The general fund levy for 2011-2012 is 0.677202 and, for the building fund levy it is 0.036157.
