Since the campaign was announced several weeks ago, $1,600 has been raised in donations for the 2015 Elgin Scholarship Drive sponsored by the Elgin Area Community Foundation.
Contributions last week came from Margaret Kerkman, Tom & Marilyn Reilly,Wilfred & Evelyn Arehart, John & Patricia Sehi, Karl & Margaret Hensley, Dale & Renee Schindler, Betty Salber, Kyle & Deb Warren and Kurt & Linda Blair .
Individuals or families wishing to contribute to the fund can send their donations to the Elgin Area Community Foundation, Box 345, Elgin, NE 68636-0345.
