Sandy Starman Winn, 47 of Walla Walla, WA, passed away August 29, 2014 at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Raeville, with Rev. Bernard Starman officiating.

Sandy Starman Winn was born December 17, 1966. She was adopted by Norbert and Clara (Beckman) Starman in Dec. of 1966. Clara passed away Feb. 5, 1979.
Sandy is the daughter of Norbert and Jeanette (Kluthe) Starman and graduated from Pope John High School in Elgin in 1985.
On June 15, 1986, Sandy married Stan Karella in Alaska, and to this union two children were born: Sara and Scott. They later divorced. Sandy married Bill Winn on August 25, 2006 in Alaska.
She is survived by her husband Bill of Walla Walla, WA; her parents Norbert and Jeanette Starman of Elgin; her brother Fr. Bernard Starman of Omaha; a daughter Sara (Joe) Dennis of Kenai, AK; granddaughter Anastasia Karella of Alaska; two step-children: Ben and Crystal Winn of Alaska; three step grand children.
She was preceded in death by her son Scott Karella, adopted mother Clara Starman and her grandparents.
