Resignations, New Hires at District #18

The District #18 Board of Education met Tuesday night.
Among the many items on the agenda, school board members hired two new instructors and accepted several resignations.
The board hired Carrie Drueke for the Media/tech/middle grades position. Principal Adam Patrick said she and two other persons were interviewed for the position. Drueke currently holds a similar position working with students at Chambers and Wheeler Central school districts. She and her husband Andy have three children and, according to statements made at the meeting, live in the District #18 school district. She fills the position created by the resignation of Heidi Rethmeier who has accepted a position as a staff development coordinator at ESU #8.
