Request for Proposals — Antelope County

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Antelope County Board of Supervisors is requesting proposals from qualified firms for providing Construction Management services for the construction of a Law Enforcement Center (LEC) in Neligh, Nebraska.
It is the intent of the County Board to select a Construction Manager to contribute to the overall success of the project and participate as a partner in a “Construction Manager at Risk” (CM@R) form of project delivery, in compliance with the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Construction Alternatives Act.  Both Pre-Construction phase and Construction phase services are required.
The proposed project scope of work consists of a new Antelope County Law Enforcement Center, to be constructed on County property south of the existing Antelope County Weed District building, and which will include a 20 bed jail facility and Sheriff’s offices.  The new LEC will be a single story facility containing about 13,115 gross square feet (GSF) of jail space and about 2,114 GSF of Sheriff’s offices.  A 1,650 GSF rooftop penthouse will house mechanical and electrical equipment.

Proposals should be addressed to Jerald Schwager, Antelope County Board Chairman, and must be received in the Antelope County Clerk’s office at the Courthouse, 501 Main Street, Room 6, PO Box 26, Neligh, NE  68756 no later than 2:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2013.  Following a review of the proposals, the Board may elect to interview firms before a final selection is made.
