Progress. It’s just one word but it describes the work that has been done on the new medical clinic building in Elgin being constructed by Boone County Health Center.
Administrator Vic Lee said Friday construction has been moving along very well. “We’re pretty well on schedule,” he said in a telephone interview.
He said the inside of the building is framed up, the roof is on and sealed. “We’ve started to put the brick on this week. I’m very pleased with where we are at,” he said.
Based on the progress made so far, Lee said the project should be completed by the end of October or early November.
