Those responding to roll call: Bolling, Brandt, Schwager, Baker, Williby, Henery and Kerkman.
Adopted the resolution accepting the road closing study for 525 Avenue located between Sections 15 and 16, Neligh Township and set the road closing hearing for 10:00 AM on July 10, 2012.
Adopted the resolution authorizing the County Highway Superintendent to do a road closing study for the west half of 867 Road located between Sections 18 and 19, Eden Township.
Discussed 516 Avenue road improvement for the new Central Valley Ag facility by Royal.
Discussed placing weight limit signs for bridges at the intersections.
Heard from a representative with ProAct regarding a Prescription Drug Discount Card Program.
Discussed purchasing a portable storage shed for the courthouse maintenance equipment.
Approved paying the NE Nebraska Economic Development dues and the NE Nebraska Area Agency on Aging dues for 2012/2013.
Approved the subgroup application with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Approved the renewal plan with National Insurance Services for the county vision plan and the county life and long term disability policies.
Reviewed the Job Descriptions for the county road department.
Approved co-signing the loan papers for the new 4H building.
Heard from a representative with GIS Workshop regarding the services they provide.
Reviewed the sheriff’s April fee report.
Approved the May 1, 2012 and May 8, 2012 board minutes.
Supervisors Williby, Schwager and Baker conducted the 2nd quarter jail inspection.
Reviewed the Radon proposal from Lindner Construction.
Approved the application for permit to place a permanent electric line beneath 521 Avenue between Sections 1 and 2, Verdigris Township.
Recognized that Antelope County Assessor Heather McWhorter had certified that the 2012 assessment roll is complete.
Authorized the chairman to sign the agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads regarding the county providing a Registered Land Surveyor to tie out Land Monuments prior to construction and tie and remonument after construction for the Clearwater North Bridge Project.
Set a Committee of Supervisors Brandt, Williby and Schwager regarding the Trans-Canada Keystone XL Pipeline.
Approved the windrow for the Oakdale District.
Discussed the underground permits and who is responsible the county or the individual if the road isn’t repaired correctly.
Approved the payroll for the Primary Election.
Supervisor Schwager will look for a better pickup for the At Large road department.
No action taken on the chimney removal on the old courthouse.
Reviewed the clerk of the district court May fee report.
Reviewed correspondence.
Discussed purchasing a used Payloader for the Neligh barn.
Selected minimum maintenance road sites for emergency debris removal.
