Notice of meeting published as required by statute.
A complete record of these minutes as well as all resolutions and agreements are on file at the County Clerk’s office and are open to the public.
Those responding to roll call: Bolling, Kerkman, Baker, Williby, Henery and Schwager.  Brandt absent.
Accepted the sign study and authorized the chairman to sign the resolution approving the erection of stop signs controlling north bound traffic at the intersections of 870th  Road with 532nd  Avenue and 870th  Road with 533rd  Avenue.
Authorized the chairman to sign the resolution adding the 847th Road improvements to the current One Year Road Program.
Authorized the chairman to sign the resolution directing the highway superintendent to complete a study of the use of 1 mile of 517th Avenue between 858th Road and 859th Road; study is for the consideration of abandonment or vacation of said road.
Approved the change order, recommendation of acceptance and the pay application for the 516th Avenue grading and erosion control project.
Discussed hiring part time help for the road department; no action taken.
Discussed selling the two tracts the county owns in Sections 21 and Section 28 of Frenchtown Township; no action taken.
Approved the three requests for advertising events from the Promotional Fund.
Went into executive session at 9:32 AM to discuss a personnel complaint.  Went out of executive session at 10:07 AM.  Set a committee of Supervisors Kerkman, Williby and Henery to investigate the complaint made regarding the personnel issue.
No action taken on allowing Dave Jensen to rent the large culverts from the county.
Approved advertising for quotes for the county health insurance.
Heard from representatives with Garvey and Associates regarding the employee benefits consulting services they provide.
Authorized the county attorney to send a letter to the landowners requesting them to remove the gate they placed across 522nd Avenue.
Harlan Krebs asked the board to place a culvert under the driveway on 522nd Avenue.
Authorized the chairman to sign the 2013/2014 subgroup application for health insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
