Those responding to roll call: Bolling, Brandt, Schwager, Baker, Williby, Henery and Kerkman.
Discussed the Green Line Equipment bill for repairing the asphalt machine; no action taken.
Appointed Maurice Soper to the Antelope County Airport Authority board.
Authorized the chairman to sign the resolution adding the Central Valley Ag Road Project No. C-2(364) to the one and six year road program.
Approved accelerating the county road department employees who were hired on the old wage scale to the new wage scale.
Selected Smith Hayes at the bonding company for the new jail facility.
Discussed funding of the Antelope County Resource Center; no action taken.
Reviewed the clerk of the district court August fee report.
Approved the Elgin Public Library and Oakdale Public Library interlocal agreements.
The American Legion Club gazebo will not be dismantled; several individuals have taken it upon themselves to see that it is repaired.
County Government Day will be October 4, 2012.
Job descriptions for the county road employees was discussed.
Decided to have the safety committee draft a policy on how the county employee’s driver checks will be handled.
Discussed drafting a dress code for county road employees.
Approved the lease/purchase of a Case 621 Payloader at the cost of $121,712.00; said payloader to be purchased from Titan Machinery.
Heard an update from Blue Cross Blue Shield Representative Sue Warner regarding the county health insurance.
Authorized the chairman to sign the proclamation declaring October as Cyber Security Awareness Month.
Approved the September 4, 2012 and the September 11, 2012 regular board minutes.
No action taken on selling the bridge stored at the Neligh shop.
No action taken on the Tilden North Bridge Project right of way acquisition.
