Those responding to roll call: Bolling, Brandt, Schwager, Baker, Williby, Henery and Kerkman.
Heard from an individual regarding personal items buried in a road ditch several years ago.
Reviewed correspondence.
Reviewed the county sheriff’s March fee report.
Discussed purchasing a used Payloader for District 4.
Adopted the resolution accepting the Notice of Progress from Prairie Breeze regarding their conditional use permit.
Heard an update from Jeff Rauh, TransCanada/Keystone Pipeline Project Representative.
Approved the purchase of a 2012 Ford F250 pickup from Courtesy Ford, Norfolk in the amount of $20,097.00 for District 5.
No action taken on the job descriptions for employees.
No action taken on designating minimum maintenance roads for debris removal in case of a disaster.
No action taken on the roadway improvement for 516 Avenue between Section 7 Royal Township and Section 12 Garfield Township.
No action taken on the 4H building.
Approved two applications for permit to place electric lines beneath various roads within the county.
Approved paying for the Payloader purchase for the Clearwater barn in the amount of $179,999.00 out of the Inheritance fund.
Discussed hiring a part-time person to help run the asphalt recycling machine.
Approved the April 3, 2012 and April 10, 2012 regular board minutes and the April 10, 2012 Board of Equalization minutes.
