Meeting Monday night, the Antelope County Planning Commission held a public hearing on an application for a conditional use permit to develop wind energy in southern Antelope County.
Char Carpenter said the commission will recommend to the Antelope County Board of Supervisors that they approve the permit when they meet in 2013.
According to the application, the location of the wind energy conversion system (WECS) would be in portions of Burnett, Cedar, Grant, Lincoln and Logan Townships in Antelope County.
