PJCC Takes First, EHS Fourth at NVC One-Act Play Competition

The One Act teams from Elgin High School (EHS) and Pope John XXIII Central Catholic (PJCC) competed yesterday (Tuesday) at the Niobrara Valley Conference (NVC) contest hosted by PJCC.
Taking first place was the host school, PJCC, with their production of “Alice”. EHS placed fourth with their production of “Frumpled Fairytales”. Receiving Best Actress honors was PJCC’s Taylor Knievel.
Honorable Mentions were awarded to several local students. From EHS, Hunter Thramer, Danny Smith, Tyler Smith, Ivy Prater and Julianna Dunn received Honorable Mention. From PJCC, Jenny Beckman received an Honorable Mention.
