The Keep Nebraska Beautiful Conference was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in the Historic Haymarket in Lincoln, on August 24-25, 2016. The two-day workshops afforded a time for learning, sharing and networking with others who work to improve our local environment.
Theme for this year’s conference was, “The Hard Work Of Doing Good Well”. There were 13 conference speakers, including Jennifer Jehn-President and CEO of Keep America Beautiful and Sue Smith, National Trainer for Keep America Beautiful. Sue and Jane Polson are sharing 26 years of dedication, each, to the program, starting in Chadron, NE, in 1990. Jane is the President of Keep Nebraska Beautiful.
Bernie and Harry Cunningham attended the two day conference and workshops. Joining Cunninghams for the noon luncheon and awards program on Thursday were: Allen Thorberg, Jan and Jeff Temme and Eric Petsche.
