Two members of the Elgin Public-Pope John state championship football team will compete Saturday at the 2012 Nebraska 8-Man All-Star football game.
The contest, pitting the best 8-man players from the East versus the West, will be played at Hastings College Football Complex on Saturday, June 16. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Wolfpack standouts Caleb Pelster and Nash Schindler are members of the West team which will be competing Saturday.
The East team, coached by Bob McEvoy of Humphrey, has eight all-state players.
The West team, coached by Andy Schwarz of South Loup, has 10 all-state players.
