The fifth annual Kansas vs. Nebraska 8-Man All-Star game will be held June 23 at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.
This year’s game will have added local interest as a member of the Elgin Public-Pope John state champion football team will be on the Nebraska roster.
Elgin Public-Pope John Coach Carlie Wells announced last week that Caleb Pelster has been chosen to represent Nebraska.
This will be Pelster’s second summer all-star game. On June 16, he is scheduled to play in the Sertoma 8-Man All-Star game to be played at Hastings College. Also playing in the Sertoma game will be Wolfpack teammate Nash Schindler.
