During the 46th annual Elgin FFA Banquet many individuals and businesses were recognized for their help and support to the chapter over the past year.
The chapter also recognized parents of senior members that have been supportive and helpful to the chapter for many past years.
These parents were recognized that evening by receiving Honorary Chapter Degrees.
“What is special about these parents is that they have sent their sons and/or daughters through the FFA program and their final child is now graduating,” said FFA Advisor Julia Schwartz. “The chapter sincerely thanks these parents for their years of service and support!”
Parents recieving the Honorary Chapter FFA Degree were Ray & Pam Braband, Gary & Teresa Schindler, Bruce & Joanne Anderson, Joe & Lori Beckman, Linda Grosserode, Chris & Laurie Waterbury, and Tom & Bonnie Hoefer.
