ORDINANCE NO. 642
CITY OF ELGIN, NEBRASKA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, NEBRASKA, APPROVING THE
STERLING HEIGHTS 3rd SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF ELGIN, NEBRASKA, TO REPEAL ALL SECTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING FOR ANEFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, NEBRASKA:
Sec. 1. The below described real estate was previously annexed in and is part of the City of Elgin, Antelope County, Nebraska and zoned for residential subdivisions.
Sec. 2. The subdivision of the real estate will benefit the City with improvements and increased valuation.
Sec. 3. The Owner of the real estate has prepared and filed with the Elgin City Clerk an accurate plat of the subdivision of the real estate and requested approval of the plat of the real estate as Sterling Heights 3rd Subdivision.
Sec. 4. The real estate and subdivision plat meets all requirements for residential subdivision in the City.
Sec. 5. That the plat of the following described real estate:
Part of Lot 2, Block 7 and part of Block 8, Amended Plat of Cooper’s Addition to the City of Elgin and part of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 11, T23N, R7W of the 6th P.M., Antelope County, Nebraska, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block C, Sterling Heights Subdivision to the City of Elgin, Nebraska; thence N 89?34’51” E on an assumed bearing on the North line of said Lot 1, 193.66 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 1 and on the West Right-of-Way line of Northridge Drive, said point being the Point of Beginning; thence Northwesterly on a 460.00 foot radius curve to the left, 208.43 feet, which has a chord bearing N 13 ?34’32” W, 206.65 feet; thence N 00/35’50” W, 8.00 feet to a point of curvature; thence Northeasterly on a 260.00 foot radius curve to the right, 127.68 feet, which has a chord bearing N 13 ?28’17” E, 126.40 feet; thence N 27 ?32’24” E, 39.48 feet; thence N 89 ?24’10” E, 217.02 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block A of said Sterling Heights Subdivision; thence S 01 ?04’56” E on the West line said Lot 1, 232.95 feet; thence S 01 ?06’59” E on the West line of Lot 2 of said Block A, 285.00 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2, said point being on the East Right-of-Way line of Northridge Drive; thence Northwesterly on a 400.00 foot radius curve to the right, 250.21 feet, which has a chord bearing N 44 ?28’00” W, 246.15 feet; thence S 63 ?22’55” W, 60.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 2.43 acres, more or less, be approved as Sterling Heights 3rd Subdivision.
Sec. 6. That the City Clerk shall deliver and file a copy of this Ordinance with the Antelope County Register of Deeds and the Antelope County Assessor for recording this ordinance approving the subdivision.
Sec. 7. That other ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Sec. 8. That this ordinance shall be in effect and full force upon its passage, approval and publication according to law.
