Verdigre Public Schools will host the Niobrara Valley Conference Band Clinic on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
The guest clinician will be Dr. Jay Gilbert. He is the director of instrumental music at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.
Schools participating in the clinic are Clearwater, Elgin, Ewing, Niobrara, Orchard, and Verdigre.
The clinic begins with a 12:30 p.m. rehearsal session and continues throughout the afternoon. There will be an evening concert open to the public at no charge at 7 p.m. at the Verdigre Public School Gym.
The mass band will be performing several pieces that were rehearsed previously. There will also be performances from individual schools. Please join us for an evening of wonderful music!
