NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hearby given that the Mayor and City council of the City of Elgin, Nebraska will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:30 p.m. on November 5, 2012 at the Elgin City Offices, 104 Pine Street, Elgin, Nebraska, for the discussion of the engineering report on the water supply, storage and distribution system as required for the State Revolving Loan Funding from the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality and other funding agencies.
The purpose of this public hearing is to discuss the Preliminary Engineering Report and the potential impacts to the City of Elgin and its water rates. All local citizens and any other interested parties, governmental agencies or groups are encouraged to attend.
A copy of the report will be made available for public inspection at the meeting. All persons interested in the findings of the report are invited to appear and express their views. Written statements may submitted prior to or at the time of the hearing.
