New Donations Made To Elgin Endowment Fund

So far, nearly $3,700 has been raised in donations to the Elgin Area Community Foundation. According to Anne Parks, a member of the foundation’s fund advisory committee, $3,695 in contributions have been received since the foundation began it’s year-end marketing campaign.
The foundation began in 2007 to create a community endowment with the hope of promising quality of life to future generations who choose to make the Elgin community their home.
The foundation, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, continues to work hard to prepare the community for a future of prosperity by preserving our wealth, investing in our people today and building resources for tomorrow’s opportunities.
In 2014, the Elgin Community Foundation approved grants that helped with the Q125 celebration as well as the opening of one new store in Elgin.
During the past year, approximately $6,500 in grants were awarded in the community. In 2015, as much as $7,000 could be awarded.
None of this would be possible without your help.
