New officers were announced at Monday night’s meeting of the Elgin Chamber of Commerce/Community Club.
Meeting for the first time in 2011, the community club was led by Jeremy Young. A doctor of veterinary medicine, Young works at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. He replaces Gary Arehart who completed his term as president in 2010.
Vice president this year will be Tony Levander, owner of Huffman-Levander Funeral Home in Elgin. Levander has served on the board of directors previously.
